During the Covid-19 pandemic, Council continues to provide services and deliver projects to the community.
Responding to the ever-changing COVID circumstances, the Executive Team, in consultation with Council’s Pandemic Coordination Team (PCT), has mapped out a pathway to ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety obligations, and to mitigate the risks of COVID-19 to all Council workers and the community.
This checklist/declaration applies to;
ALL contractors, sub-contractors or consultants that are providing a fee for service to Hornsby Shire Council; AND
are carrying out work for Hornsby Council at a Council building or site (e.g. an electrician working in a Council office, a mowing company undertaking grass cutting in a Council park, an engineer attending a Council site to provide geotechnical advice)
This checklist/declaration does NOT apply to;
Contractors, sub-contractors, consultants that are providing a fee for service to Hornsby Shire Council from their work premise (e.g. a consultant providing a technical report that does not require attendance at a Council building or site, printers completing print work for Council)
In addition to any NSW Government Public Health Orders, Council has introduced measures to ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety legislation, and to reduce the risk of COVID-19 across all our workplaces and within the Hornsby Shire community.
ALL contractors/consultants are required to complete the following checklist/declaration prior to commencing work on behalf of Hornsby Shire Council.
