An Outdoor Dining Application processing fee of
$334 is payable at the time of submission of your application.
There is an annual fee for the outdoor dining approval which be found in
Council’s Schedule of Fees and Charges.
The current annual outdoor dining fee for 2024-25 (no GST) for Hornsby Mall is
$610/m

and for all other areas (i.e., not Hornsby mall) is
$334/

pa.
This is billed monthly after your application has been approved.
A Bond (refundable) is required of $500 or 2 months of the Annual Approval fee rent, whichever is greater
For example, for a 5m2 area in the Hornsby Mall area, the monthly fee would be $254.17 and the refundable Bond would be $508.33; for a 5m2 area in all other areas except Hornsby Mall, the monthly fee would be $139.17 and the Bond would be $500.
An invoice for the application processing fee will be sent for payment. Processing of the Outdoor Dining proposal will not commence until the fee is paid.
The Bond invoice will be sent following successful processing of the Outdoor Dining proposal. The Bond will need to be paid before the Outdoor Dining Approval can be issued.
